Man, 57, Riding E-Bike Dies In Atlantic City Crash: Police

An Atlantic City man was killed when his electric bicycle and a vehicle crashed, authorities said.

Officers responded to the crash on the 100 block of North Maryland Avenue at around 12:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release.

Police found the 57-year-old man suffering from serious injuries. Firefighters and paramedics tried to save his life but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 40-year-old woman who was driving the vehicle wasn't injured and stayed at the crash scene. She was cooperating with investigators and no charges have been filed as of Thursday, Oct. 3.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office is helping investigate.
